I didn\u2019t know the deceased personally, nor did I know the family until they contacted me for Lay Chaplaincy help in creating this celebration of life for their father. But I came to know what a kind and wonderful man he was, one who helped his neighbours and friends, told his children bedtime stories, chatted with strangers, and was an all round good guy. I wish I had known him. Although he will be deeply missed, it was so obvious from the stories people told that he had been a positive influence in their lives and remains so even now.
