Today we will explore the nature of compassion and consider its intersection with the ethical treatment of others.<br \/>\n<em>A long time Beacon member, Sandy has chaired the Tri-Cities Homelessness &amp; Housing Task Group since December 2006. Previously he was the founding chair of the Fraser-Burrard Community Justice Society (now the CERA society), a restorative justice program for youth, as well as the Tri-Cities Housing Coalition. He was Volunteer Lead at SHARE\u2019s Coquitlam food bank depot for 10 years until May 2014, and is a Life Member of Coquitlam Search &amp; Rescue. Sandy retired from a career with BC Hydro in 2004.
